Letters from The Club Officers:

Message from the President

Happy New Year to all,

New Year's celebrations remind us that we can reset the clocks and start off fresh with a brand new year!  New Year's resolutions are made and we are all more determined to do it "better" this year.

The QCC is also beginning its new year.  And, we want to have more exciting things for all of us to do this year.  For those of you that want to participate, you will have more opportunities to share with us.  We are anxious to see what you have on your minds.    Be sure to e-mail us or contact one of the officers with your requests.

We hope that you will take advantage of sharing your trips or stories and sending them to us.  We can include them into our Newsletter and then all QCC members can read them and perhaps others will want to share their story.   Seriously, we would love to have all of you send in stories of your trips or share a tip on a health issue. This would be interesting to hear about other people and their adventures in life.   Take a moment and think about it. Then, can contact any of the officers and we would be happy to include the story in our Newsletter.

Also please talk with your friends that are members and see if there are individuals who would be interested in running for a position within the Quarter Century Club Board.   Take some time and look within yourself and see if this is something you would like to do.   It’s a meeting once a month and board members work together to get the events going for you and also it is fun.

Also, as always, your donations are appreciated. Enjoy the New Year and be safe.

Sincerely
Lupe Travis
QCC President for
Tucson

Message from the Treasurer
Since no one stepped up to take this job away from me it looks like I will be with you for a while longer.  If anyone wants to be treasurer please let one of the officers know and we can accommodate you.

Since we are starting a new year please take the time to send in your voluntary dues of $5. These dues are used to send flowers and donations to our members in times of illness and sorrow and to provide funds for our potlucks and office expenses.  We are looking forward to a good year of participation at all of the events and meeting all of our old friends.  Thanks again for allowing me to serve you.
